When lowering the main sail, the cars fall out of the track. The "stop" doesn't stay put allows the cars to fall out.
If you zoom in on the photo withe opened track area, you'll see a couple of dimples. These look like someone created them by taking a drill to the track. But these dimples don't create enough resistance to keep a single car from falling out.
If you look at the side picture of the stop, you see that thimble stands a little proud.
I'm thinking that if I drill a hole, the pin will fit in it and then the stop will have enough tension to prevent the cars from pushing past and falling out.
Any thoughts?
