Cracked stern tube

Is it possible or advisable to glass over the tube end. Making certain the Volvo piece still fits.

I would bet this can be fixed, however the volvo shaft seal is a tight fit on the stern tube….. I just replaced mine on my beneteau 423. Have to replace the nipple as well as it was completely corroded.
I would contact a competent glass guy.

Ditto. If there’s a major problem with shaft whip or alignment, the repair might not last.
