Gel Coat Repair, With Wax or Without?

I have an 88 Hunter 28.5 and needs some minor gel coat repair. I was going to buy a quart (though I don't need near that much).
I see that they sell it in both with wax and without.
It looks like it has been repaired before, plus there are a few other minor chips elsewhere.
Any suggestions?
Sir Michael

Didn’t work, Spectrumcolor only shows unwaxed gallon for $450!

I have been doing some digging, and it appears that I need Waxed so that the mixed internal paraffin wax will float to the surface to allow the gel coat to harden.
If exposed to air, the gel coat stays tacky without the wax.

I’m slow, but learning…

You’ve got it. The other alternative is a spray wax or PVA, but waxed gelcoat is probably the easier way for that application.

Jamestown Distributors. You may have to do a little color matching to get a great match, but that's not too difficult task to do.
