I am looking for a spinnaker car to fit an older Z Spar mast with an extruded 2" (50mm) track on front of mast. The Z Spar part, Z-73S-R1, is no longer in production. Does anyone have a notion where I could find one?

Rig Rite shows it as no longer available. The car (and track) is curved to match the front of the mast so other cars for spinnaker pole mast fitting are not likely to work. You may have to get a custom shop to make you something that does.

Consider a new track and spinnaker ring car.
The track is an extrusion on the front of the mast. All I really need to accomplish is mounting a block on the front of the mast to run the foreguy through. A second car at bottom of the mast would be perfect, but there are other options.

I'm not understanding how or why the foreguy needs to be blocked at the mast. Is this an end for end or dip pole system? Not that that should matter. My boat's rigged for end for end and thus the pole has a bridle for the foreguy and top lift. The foreguy blocks at center of foredeck and I have it routed to the cockpit. I suppose if I routed it to the mast, I'd block there to run it up to a halyard winch. (hmm, I think I just answered my own question:thumbup:) But. you could also mount a stand up, or halyard, block on the deck, or perhaps a cheek block on the mast. Another idea, I now have my foreguy set up with 2:1 purchase to avoid needing a winch... giving me options like being able to relocate it to bow to serve as a tack line for my asymmetrical.

Anyway, that's a lot of chit-chat isn't it. But, I'm asking more out of curiosity than anything else. Just keen to learn and share. Hope you get it straightened out.

Oh... I just remembered that you found a curved base car but learned it's no longer available. Immediately, I thought of Minney's Yacht Surplus. (or any similar outlet) A quick call to enquire about something so unusual couldn't hurt. Good Luck.

if it's for the foreguy, leading the guys through snatch blocks on the rails by the shrouds P & S should work. A snatch block at the base of the mast would work for a pole downhaul, and it could be lashed there. No need for another mast ring fitting.
