Upgrading Windlass wire - double up on the wire

How about the 20 amp/hr rating on these batteries?
Mike, there's a nice skipper over on cruisersforum with the name of StuM (not me, just another Stu!:)) who has repeatedly noted the widespread misuse of amp hour shortcuts. There is no such thing as amp/hr ratings of batteries. It is amp hour or ah, with no division sign between them.
One of these days I'll find his tutorial on this and link to it.

How about the 20 amp/hr rating on these batteries?
House Batteries: US Batteries L16CH 6v - 420Ah x 2, so 12V 420AH
About a year old, batteries equalized regularly as per US Battery recommendations and current SOH = 98% (Balmar SG200)

Start Batteries: Magnacharge 65-1100 AGM (SLA) x 2 (in parallel). CCA: 850, CA: 1075, RC: 150
Batteries have pretty much always been full at 12.8V, dropping on occasion to 12.7V
