I am looking at installing a new Raymarine wind anemometer as well as new wiring. has anyone had any luck in fishing the wire down the mast without stepping? My rigging guy stated that it is difficult at best????

Brett, who is your rigging guy. I have dealt with one of the best in Everett.
If your running new wires, then pulling the old out while using it to pull a messenger line is one method to use.

I hired Puget Sound Rigging for the inspection, They stated that with a deck stepped mast the struggle is the base of the mast, I will be inspecting the connection points to see if there is a Conduit that continues all the way thru the deck or if there is a conduit down the mast then a separate one coming up at the base to prevent water intrusion much like a Dorad
