Hunter 34 Toms River Nj
Joe,
That's awesome, that you have documentation that you actually own the mythical legendary Hunter 333.
It's like finding big foot or the locknes monster on this forum. The myth has now been confirmed.
boat was built in Alachua Fl most likely dealer boat that was to be shipped overseas sold here in the states. The h33.5 were in high demand, Hunter could not build boats fast enough in those days,

Good luck with it, as I said before I sailed the h33.5 identical boat its a great boat very fast and responsive cruiser racer. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do my h34.

Again welcome aboard⛵⛵⛵⛵⛵⛵⛵

Again great boat! I believe that this forum has the manual for the h33.5 which is as I said is essentially the same boat. If you can't find it then the h34 is also the same boat as well except for the rigging being a fractional rig.
Quite a bit difference in the 34 and 33.5. Also, never did see the 33.5 designated as part of the “Legend” series.

Thanks for your notes. Didn’t know I had a unique boat. It is a wing keel. All the documentation refer to it as Hunter 333 and Built in FL but can’t recall name of city.
The boat will be lots of fun. No furling system. I downloaded the manual for 33.5. Compared to 333 specs, very minor differences in length, weight, beam, and mast height - wonder why Hunter would have two “nearly” identical boats?
Joe,
These boats were fabricated in Alachua, FL. Mine had a recessed mounted continuous line jib furler. Conventional mainsail with Dutchman flaking, and fractional B&R rig. Shoal wing keel (cast iron). Walk thru transom with no swim platform. Because of the jib furler location, there was no anchor roller. I enjoyed the cabin layout, lots of room & storage for a 34 foot boat. Nice boat for coastal cruising.:)

Appears I have been remiss and not thanked you Capt. Robbie - I have read the manual three times!
