To All, I purchased a Beneteau Oceanis 461 just Before the Pandemic got cranked up. Unfortunately my prized possession is sitting in Canada waiting for me to complete import papers with a broker. My original plans were to simply make a border crossing and sail her home. The Pandemic crushed that thought with all the borders being closed to non commercial traffic. So Now I am a thousand plus miles away and trying to deal with the marina folks in reference to getting a phot of the EPA sticker because we have to prove the motor is EPA compliant prior to being allowed into the U. S, Does Anyone know exactly where this sticker is located on the engine is it possibly affixed to the interior engine bay somewhere? I know …. you would think this would be real easy but distance and language barriers make this a seemingly impossible task. Thank you in advance.

Thanks Don, and no I didn't know the certification was given to the manufacturer and not applicable to the motor itself this whole process had been a royal pain in the arse. Thanks for the reply …. curious as to why the import broker would ask me for the photograph of the actual label. I will contact a westerbeke dealer for further info.
They sent lots of pictures of the motor and interior area below the companion way steps and I have to say I'm not seeing a sticker of any kind. Not to say its not buried somewhere out of sight so to speak. Definetly did not see it on the valve cover, may have fallen off. Thanks for the responses and I'm going to call a local Westerbeke distributor to see if their is another way to document compliance. I can clearly see the model and serial number placard …. and I also see Made in the USA stamped in bold letters
