Looking for a rigging outfit in British Columbia

Hunter 18.5 Revelstoke
It’s time to replace my rigging on my Hunter 18.5, I see there’s lots of BC guys here... I’d rather not send my rigging across the line, duties, shipping and exchange rates are a killer. Can anyone recommend someone right here in BC?

Where's your boat, BC is a big place. On the island, Blackline in Sidney is very very good.

Blackline in Sidney is excellent. On Vancouver Island they have the best reputation from sailors I've talked to, and I've used them myself and found the service top notch. If you need to bring your boat somewhere for a rigger they are tops.

Harbour Chandler in Nanaimo, and Independent Marine in Coombs are both great options for DIY if you know exactly what you want to order. Independent Marine are best to deal with over the phone where Harbour Candler has a decent website for online ordering. You wouldn't go wrong with any of these choices.

Man that is a fair distance East from Vancouver. You might be better measuring their lengths and contacting some one like RiggingOnly.com or calling up one of the suggested good suppliers, by @VanIslandGuy and see what they can do for you and shipping. I suspect there are no WM stores in your mountain retreat.

John , WM left our verdant shores eons ago, and they'd be the very last place I'd go for this type of material anyway.

That said, I always enjoyed their conveniece when I lived in California, and I actually had 2 to pick from on different ways to get to my boat from my house. Now THAT was convenient!!!:):):)

In Everett there is a store at the top of the gangway from our dock. Very convenient. But convenience has a cost.

Yup.
Brent at Blackline has been very responsive and helpful any time I have touched base with him. Very good work.
Jonathan at Blanchard Rigging totally re-rigged my previous boat several years back and I was statisfied with both his work and price.
Serge at Mainstay rigging did some pretty complex design work for a top down furler on an Island Packet for a very good friend of mine. Unfortunately the job had to be cancelled.
I would think any rigger in business for more than a couple of years could help you out, if it is the Hunter 18.5 you would like rigged.
