When looking in the spring, I was only able to find a Worthington 5 lb (4.25) steel propane tank. The smallest aluminum or composite (fiberglass) I could find were 10 lb tanks except for a very tall 6 lb cylindrical one manufactured by several companies.T

the West Marine link provided in an earlier post seems to reinforce your observation. The ONLY 5 pound tank shown is steel and is 4.25 pounds.
