New GPS

I have a 2004 Hunter 306. the helm has the standard Ray Marine Speed and Depth units. I want to add a new Ray Marine GPS / Bottom unit. Right now I am more interested in the GPS/Chartplotter than the fish finder as it would require adding a long transducer to the swim platform. of course would opt for a thru unit. to get power to the helm from the Nav station looks difficult to feed the wires thru. any ideas or past experience would be appreciated. I have one more breaker that is available at the Nav Station. thank you tom

A Raymarine gps/chartplotter is a good adder. You will likely have a chase or conduit from the helm to the nav station breaker panel. I used these to route a new gps/chart plotter signals/power from the nav station to the helmon my Hunter 386 and route a new vhf mic cable from the helm to the nav station on my Hunter 46.
