No conviction recorded, a slap on the wrist, sounds like a fair trial. Captain on the other hand had control of the vessel. The nature of public media puts you on global trial, that's a new sidebar to life in the fast lane.

It appears in Australia having sex at the wrong time with a drunk Captain means you pay. I always thought the guy had to pay. It sure seems like a brave new world.

Did I miss something?

She also got a pay raise and a promotion.
And time of if she shows good behavior.. But now I am confused.. What is good and what is bad behavior?

I thought my Catholic up bringing taught me that , then I heard Mae West...

They hit the navigation buoy, then 10 min later hit a boat, then some time later ran aground. That skipper was focused on "not his duties". I would think the first collision would be enough of a warning.

Yah, she's way cute. Name's Courtney Cox, enjoying her dream job.
At least that's what she told me.

Well he banged into 3 things 4 if you count the deckhand. Each collision might be considered evidence of failure to keep a proper lookout. Hey looking at the situation I feel a little sympathy but festivities should have ceased at the first ( or second) bang.
