Awe there is always the next boat, doesn’t really matter as long as it floats. The Avatar version is a “flying” trimaran. More of a plane than a boat!Isn’t there a third boat in play here? How about the one in your avatar? Actually, they all look pretty sweet!
Actually NO fees at all this year. Had just returned to the mooring before the Kingston thermals kicked in. Double masted in the background just cruised upwind as everyone else was scrambling to reef etc. One can dream! You are ready to downsize, save a ton on boat maintenance and slip fees?

Just proves the grass really is greener on the other side of the fence!Thats two boats in one off in the background. Dinks need love too!
The double mast guy took a picture of the boat in forground and posted it in the cruiser forum with a equal title.![]()
Yes but think of the size of the trailer. Maybe you could rent the one they used for Armstrong’s rocket, 50yrs old might get it cheap!![]()

In my fantasies, yes, I could afford the cost and others would spend the time.Yes but can you afford the cost of varnish...
It would be a never ending task. There'd be no time for sailing.
Fantasy by definition sort of implies an absence of reality. The ship would never need any work, all of the time is devoted to sailing. In my fantasies, yes, I could afford the cost and other would spend the time.

I'd go with your avatar boat!Awe there is always the next boat, doesn’t really matter as long as it floats. The Avatar version is a “flying” trimaran. More of a plane than a boat!
That does look like a fun boat to sail, but how would it be as a World cruiser?I'd go with your avatar boat!
Not my idea of a world cruiser, but a rather speedy interisland boat! That does look like a fun boat to sail, but how would it be as a World cruiser?
