Volvo Penta Model 2003. Where's the Zinc?

I've been renewing the 1988 Volvo Penta Model 2003 on our 1989 Beneteau First 35s5. I can't find the location of the pencil zinc anywhere. Does anyone know where it is? Does this model even have one?
Thanks,
Mike

Many Volvo Penta engines have isolated ground, meaning the ground wire is disconnected by a relay except during start or stop momentarily. The shaft coupling is also isolated. I don’t know if yours is like that, but it’s a VP design feature and I think it likely.

Thanks Captain Larry. I believe it does have an isolated ground. Does that mean it would not have a pencil zinc in the block?

I think you can get old manuals at the VP website. I think there is one in the heat exchanger.
