Unfair. One appears to be sailing in the ESE 13 kt wind and the other appears to be motoring, albeit wisely, towards destination.Waiting for you to overtake that slower Canadian sailboat "JACA"

Hi John, that be US Customs. Where did you clear into Canada?Customs dock on the east side of the waterway.
Count all your friends and anyone you might meet along the way.....1liter per person
My reputation precedes me....Difficult to understand how Kermie got black balled from the bar.
At least over here on the right coast the Canadian Customs tell me that only unopened sealed bottles count. So as someone mentioned previously, open, drink and no need to declare.Customs officer let us in with the over count booze. Someone in the government thinks 1liter per person is adequate to entertain Canadian friends. duh.
Did the agent board Mahalo? Last year when I cleared at Pt. Roberts, the agent was a bit indignant that I had not ordered the Customs tab at the beginning of the year instead of on my return. As if I had nothing better to spend my money on; just another tax. Grr.When the question was asked the response was all of the bottles were for consumption on the boat and were open.
Did. Not stop the agent for identifying his rules. But in the end he welcomed Les to Canada. Me not so much.
