I have a 1982 H30. I need to rebuild the transmission. Can the transmission be pulled while the boat is in the water? Safely? Thanks

Can't answer that. Keep the shaft supported in line and you shoudn't have any more water than usual coming in and there shouldn't be any while at the dock.
