Do any of you have the part number for a positive (red) battery switch from Beneteau or
OEM supplier. Couldn't find it in the archives or on Beneteau's spare part site.
Thanks.

Did you look in the common parts section on Spare Parts Beneteau? That's probably where the list it. That site sucks at finding anything IMO.

Yes I did; however, no luck.
Will have to email Beneteau to check on part number & availability. Its much easier to order online thru the spare parts system, IF you have a part number.

. My OEM BLACK ONE that I replaced with a red one WAS RIGHT HERE ON THE FLOOR from the last time this subject came up! I could have painted the black handle red, but thought I'd use the black for something else, but never did. made in France by Soderep. one number is 03630, another 201540. made, i see, 05-07? 150 amps. 10 mm nuts.

EDIT.... It is under engine electric. Part 953583 (for the red?). The site quit before I could check the other color. It is still not on line. $30.23

Couldn't you just buy a similar switch? Why does it have to be OEM? IIRC they're hidden in the aft cabins anyway, right?

Yeah, agree, ordering easy, finding hard!

Thanks Ron,
Couldn't find it in the 343 engine electrical category (no electrical plan listed). Located it in the 331, 323, 373 engine electrical plan and ordered it. The Beneteau parts ordering system isn't the greatest; however, if you have a part number, it usually works fairly well. Thanks again.

If you have any high load devices on-board, windlass, thruster, electric winches or larger inverter/chargers I would suggest replacing them with Blue Sea switches. Bene & Jenneau over the years have used switches from Viatemis/Soderep and no-name, no specs, apparent Chinese knock-offs of those two. I've measured numerous versions of these switches with far too excessive voltage drops across them. For large load devices a switch rated at 150A is often too light. Even the smallest Blue Sea mSeries switches are rated at 300A continuous.
