Barlow winch replacement parts

I have the Barlow 15 and 16 winches on our First 26 and the black top cap broke off and need replacing. Barlow is out of business so anyone have a solution on this replacement

I'm on my phone with bad Wi-Fi so I don't want to search, but if you use the search function to search my posts, along with the keyword "Hutton" (or "Barlow" or "Barient", in that order) you will get contact info for the company in Australia that still has parts for Barient and Barlow winches. Shouldn't be hard to find, I've posted it more than once.

I had the same issue with my Barlows. The plastic cap is not available, and I had to replace the winches.

That's it- Exactly! I emailed Australia and received a price of $35 per cap(times 4) plus $35 air mail. I asked for a picture sincewaiting for their response.

Yes, Allen has the parts but pricey. Barlow 15 is $40.00 per cap and Barlow 16 is $50.00 per cap. Plus $35 air mail fee. Maybe should use the money towards new winches.

I went to their website, and all they showed were gear and bearing sets. Please let me know, if these plastic winch tops are available. I need them for my Barlow 23s.

sales@huttonwinches.com and Allen is my contact person for these parts. FYI, if you go over $250.00 in parts expense, you get an additional 25% discount. So you want to go in with someone when ordering because the air freight is $35.00
