San Juan Trip Advice

all docks are private - the furthest west was at one time Bumble Bee buyer dock. Several sail boats were docked there last time I was there. I have docked briefly at "R" dock -Second from left - often the gate is left open at the head of the dock. It was about 0 tide - maybe -1 and I skipped along the bottom several times.

As far as I know there is no ramp in Barlow - there is one in McKay in what use to be the dump - about where the vertical line hits the northern shore.

Many years ago, when we had our first boat Our Quest an H28, we sailed over to Mackaye and stayed at the B&B at the head of the Bay. Very nice anniversary experience. Do not know whether it is still there. http://www.mackayeharborinn.com
