Just starting a new thread as I found some new issues.
This is my First go around. Everyone has been a great source of information thus yet. But, Im beginning to feel a little overwhelmed.
Long story short. Its not my boat im working on. Its my younger brothers. He's sick. So im trying to get the boat back into sailing shape for him so hopefully when hes well enough to sail again. He can have a nice clean safe functioning vessel to sail.

Sole has been removed.
I have water coming in from somewhere.
It only funnels into the front section of floor bulkhead, the section foward of the bilge.
Im assuming its coming from the mast since the Compression Post has failed and rotted.
But the Crack on the cross section of the bottom bulkhead really has me worried. Can anyone lend some info on this ? Not sure what to do ? I seem to be in over my head possibly.

Ugh. That goes beyond the normal compression post issues. The crack in the hull structure at the base looks like it could potentially be a real problem. AND you have water coming in. I think I would want to address that first. Probably need to haul the boat and see what's up with that crack. With that said, anything is fixable. Just take it step by step.

Agree.. That crack in a structural beam is not good.. That is a load distributor for the keel and mast loads.. Not good that it is immediately near the big reinforcement for the forward port side keel attachment. May have been the result of a really hard grounding or a fall onto keel from a travellift or crane.
