H26 cooler

Has anyone replaced the cooler with a longer one that extends onto the seat but still fits into that space need more cooler space any help is appreciated thanks

on a 2003 H-260 I put a Coleman 72qt in that spot.

Did you remove the hatch that covers the cooler ?

I removed the lip to put a DC powered cooler for a season (powered was too tall). Eight screws super simple however; I found the loss of the counter space ended up being a real pain. I have since placed the lid back on and stuck with a simple Coleman cooler.

Yes, it fits lengthXwidth but not by height.

I know this thread is a almost a year old but.... I have made a custom cooler for my son to fit in his Tacoma. I used the pink foam board from Home Depot and glued it together in the shape I wanted, then I cut and glued plywood siding (like what you put on a shed) and covered the seams with trim. Made a lid the same way with foam that fit into the top. Then I charred the grain with a blow torch, and put seven coats of spar varnish. Some SS hinges on the lid and I used wooden cleats for the handles. She looked great. Sorry I don't have a pic.
