O'Day 222

Anyone with a 222 know what color your bilge area is?
My bilge above the keel area has a smooth grey color around it, different from the rest of the inside of the hull.
I never paid attention to it when I bought it, but I hope it isn't some sort of repair, or if it's original? I'll post a pic in a few days..

Well that makes me feel better.
It started nagging me, wondering if someone tried to fix something and I couldn't help worrying what was underneath.
