No postal feelings here, but do tend to grit my teeth over the use of the term raw water. Raw milk comes straight from the animal and has not been homogenized or pasteurized. Ditto raw honey and other food forms. Unsure here what is meant by raw water, since water from the ocean is well sea water.
It would seem to me that salt water from the ocean would best be defined by the use of the term sea water. Lake water, without ocean water contamination, would best be defined as fresh water, or is that also raw water? It becomes brackish when there is a blend of sea water with fresh. Then of course you have other forms of water terms, such as filtered water, boiled water, hot water, steaming water, under water, over water, heavy water, and so on.
Maybe all water is raw until we alter its form much like we do with the foods mentioned above. Sleep would befall much quicker if someone could enlighten me and relieve this angst, eh?
