Replacement water fill caps

Has anyone replaced their water fill screw-in caps? My 322’s are falling apart. I purchased some online (China!) for a 1 1/2” opening but they don’t quite fit. Slightly too large and what looks like different threads. If anyone knows of a source, I would be grateful. Thanks.

Also look up deck caps on CD. They now make metal replacements that match those plastic ones.

He has an O'day, not a Catalina. Before purchasing I would check to make sure they are the right fit. I had a hard time finding caps that would fit a few years ago. Unfortunately I can't remember where I got them.

I was able to replace the water cap with an exact cap...my chain broke; not the cap... but the cap wend down with the chain......I'm going out to the lake today and I'll look just to verify my statement above....I do know I found replacement(s)...you might check Defenders or West Marine.

Thanks Pat. I can find similar-looking caps online. My problem is that the ones I purchased (for a 1 1/2” opening) didn't quite fit so I was hoping an Oday owner found a good source so I’m not just ordering more and hoping they fit.

He has an O'day, not a Catalina.

One did not know what caps he had until he posted a picture. Different builders used that particular fill fitting with plastic caps.

Which is why we continue to recommend that you REMOVE the chain from new caps. Do not use it. Do not depend on it. Place the cap somewhere safe when you remove it, like in the cockpit. Dis the chains.

That is a Sea Dog deck fill cap. These deck fill caps are available through Amazon.com for about $10 each;

357090 - Gasoline pop-top cap
357091 - Diesel pop-top cap
357093 - Water pop-top cap
357094 - Waste pop-top cap
I have no idea what the part number of the OIL cap pictured is.
I carry a spare Diesel, Water and Waste cap on my boat just in case.
