How "Twice" ?
Sorry about that. The last line of the website I originally read stated:

"It is the second time in a year Mr Moss has been rescued from the sea, according to Tribune 242. In February last year, he was stranded for three days in the waters off Grand Bahama before the Royal Bahamas Defence Force found him." http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/man-survives-drifting-atlantic-ocean-eating-doritos-cookies-water-samuel-moss-jr-nassau-bimini-a8193451.html

Unfortunately the shorter link I posted did not have that information.

That's why packing fresh eggs is a good idea when going to sea. They last a long time and as long as they don't crack, they are 40' wave proof. Powdered eggs, not 40' wave proof.
When's the last time someone was attacked by a lone 40' wave in the Bahamas? Don't they usually travel in packs?
Sounds like that guy is super lucky. Fate has it in for him but he keeps escaping.
