Looks like a good way to leave an anchor on the bottom and the boat on the rocks. The anchor is only a an old CQR, so leaving it on the bottom might be a good idea. :rolleyes:


If you watch closely in the very last second of the video, the chain separates. Also, the disclaimer in the middle "Don't try this at home."

If you read the YouTube comments, one of 4, one guy notes, "save money on chain but spend it on boat replacement."
Another guy was reminded of the Red Green Show where they fixed everything with duct tape. Actually, I think duct tape would work better than super glue.

As for the Irish Olympics, I've been to Ireland. That was a beautiful sunny day, for Ireland. Notice it wasn't raining.
I always want to know, what is it about lasers? The windmill kicks laser butt.

Oh come one, of course it will fail. He needs to use Flex Tape. If you can saw the aluminum boat in half and put it back together again with Flex Tape, I'm sure it would hold the anchor chain. Yea Doggy !!!
