So there are 2 schools of thought on how to manage the fuel system over the winter. It's either the fill the tank vs. empty the tank. I'm having a problem deciding to fill my gasoline tank with gas that almost everyone says shouldn't sit around very long. My boatyard will add stabilizer no matter if the tank is empty or full. I am thinking of running the tank as low as possible and then maybe sucking the rest out as an alternative letting a few hundred dollars of gas go bad over the winter. I do not have a Racor filter. I have a fuel filter/water separater which does not have a drain petcock. What do others think?
