You'd regret it 'cuz marble is easily scratched. Quartz is a good affordable choice for head and galley countertops.

The Admiral said she would not spend the night on the boat until the head was up to her standards, and I want to do some cruising with her later this summer. So all of a sudden, the head renovation got magically moved to the top of my priority project list.
