I purchase a 1993 Hunter 33.5 and have a question about the ProMariner 60, completely automatic 12VDC, 3 bank commercial duty. The charger says on the nameplate 60 amp battery charge and 40 amp power supply.
My question is that it seems to never completely shut off, even when batteries are charged it seems to draw about 5amps (analog gauge) and it always warm or hot to the touch. Is that ok? Is this what is considered normal for the old style non digital charger/power supply.
