I was a little disappointed in the Sta set line I bought for my continuous furler on their 40% sale. It had a lot of pulled braid loops all along the length. Hopefully they will tuck back in after use.

WM sells good quality stuff, normally for a full retail price, and (around here) has a very good rep for taking back anything that has a defect. Just let 'em replace your bad line. Their forthright warranty has always been a reason to shop there, in spite of the pricing.
And, if they were selling "seconds", they would say so. I just bought some nylon line at that (recent) sale -- it's their regular stuff on the reel, marked down for a day. Remember that the real reason for that sale is to build traffic in the store... so you might buy some clothing with it's much better margin.
