Anybody have an idea on the thickness of the large, fixed, portlights on this model? I can't get to my boat, and I know I need to replace them. I have made patterns, but local sources are absurd, want me to by a 4x8 sheet even if I guess on the thickness being 0.375". Also, anbody have a good source for the materials or having them cutout?

I'm confused.
I took my hatches to a local glass co. in Fla. They removed the old lenses from the frames, matched the spec on the lexan, installed both pieces and only asked $250.00. It was smoked color, which they didn't stock, but didn't charge for the whole sheet.
Seems if you took your lenses to a similar supplier, you should get a better deal on clear at least than to buy a whole sheet. I know it doesn't solve your problem being away from your boat, but sometimes patience saves big bucks. Good luck.

Take a look at estreetplastics.com...I ordered for a hatch cover for a j22...and plan on using them for my fixed ports on my 35.5

And now a word from the sponsor...
Cabinet catch for many Hunters

These catches were common on Hunters from the Legend-era through today's Marlow-Hunters. We keep a large stock on hand for emergency shipments or just getting spares.

I was directed to MarkPlastics down in San Diego.
Wound up speaking to him on the phone... says he doesn't have internet at work.
He spent plenty of time outlining my options for replacing my fixed portlights for the 28.5.
He might have info for yours as well
