I sailed the snake and Columbia for 10 years I-14 and Cat 22. Went out in a dust storm once in the 22. Double reef main and no jib. Cops watching us sure they were going to have to rescue us. Only problem was on a controlled jibe the boom flew up and caught on the back stay. I was very puckered till I pulled it off. We called it off shortly afterwards. It is the only time I've drug the spreaders in the water going up wind. 50-60mph in the gusts. I still smile thinking about it.

Love the whale breach at 3:12 too.

I really liked that, too, didn't spot it till about the third time I watched. I tried to match it with some not anywhere near as spectacular dolphin shots in my video.
