Last year I posted a problem getting our dinghy up on plane. With the sage advice of this group I changed the Honda 9.9hp prop from a 4 blade 9" pitch to a 4 blade 7" pitch. I also had to trim the dinghy cover near the transom since it would drag in the water just slightly when I would open the throttle up. It takes a little time to finally get on plane but we are satisfied with the change. Our dinghy is supposed to have a 15hp by the Brig user manual but this will do.
