With 10,000 lakes and an infinite number of yahoos, Minnesota has something like this happens every few days. We have people that make a living on pulling cars out of the water. Needs to be done because of the law, the cars are totaled.A bunch of years ago a buddy of mine who lived fairly close to this lake convinced two of us in separate vehicles to drive out on the ice and of course we did. Later in the day I took this picture of the same spot we had driven onto the ice.. We were STILL parked out on the ice when that picture was taken and were really questioning the decision to be there in the first place... My buddy of course said to not worry, we will just drive off in a different spot.. we of course believed him again (no choice this time) and we did safely drive off..
