Help me pick a new main

1992 MKII 30', tall rig with a Mack Pack and lazy jacks.

Mainly a cruiser with occasional beer can league racing. Single reef is fine and I am not married to a particular brand.

What say you?

Our friends have a Rolly Tasker full batten mainsail on thier Catalina 30 and they are very happy with the quality.

I have a Rolly Tasker main on my C-30. 4 full battens, 1 reef. It's a good sail. I'm happy with it and the service I got from NSS.

Try giving Hyde Sails Direct a look. @DrJudyB has given some good advice on this site about choosing a sailmaker. Try doing a search on her posts.

i have also had good discussions with Jerry @ uk sails as my local guy.
and some interestung discussions with Doyle.

discuss full versus full battens with your sailmaker. go with full support though, it is worth the extra $

I had a really great deal on a nice new Full Batten sail and loose foot from Evolution sails . They are in Cambridge Maryland ask for Matt. http://www.evolutionsails.com/ I am very very happy with our new sail. It is custom not a stamped sail design.

Shurr Sails. A fully battened main is durable but is less adjustable shape wise.
