I don't use this often- but when I do this setup seems awkward in terms of what cushions to put there.

Suggestions? I have been using a single blow up mattress that works okay for one person - not sure what to do for two people

Hi Keith, we have had guests use that for sleeping and it seems to work well. The starboard settee seat is used to insert into the slot of the port settee seat on top of the lowered table. That starboard seat has straps that snap onto the lowered table to keep the cushion in place. I suppose you could use a double sized air mattress for more comfort when two people sleep there. We have never had the need.

Nope. On our boat the starboard seat has straps with female snaps on the end. Under the salon table are matching male snaps. Those straps are intended to keep the seat from sliding around while sleeping. Actually it is a pretty comfortable sleeping double bunk. Of course not as secure as a single bunk with a lee cloth while cruising off shore in steep seas, nor is the aft cabin double bunk suitable for those conditions.

For some reason the salon table had been turned around so that the straps would not fit into the snaps. Once I turned the table around, everything fit right into place. Please let me know what you find out.

Terry- thanks , looked at our boat and you are 10% correct- the std cushion fits perfectly, but no straps or snaps on ours- but easy enough to add! We have never used it as a bed, but it would be better to be prepared!
