I have a 2001 Hunter 380 with crazed hatch lenses. They are Lewmar Coastline Friction Hatches size 03, 10, 40 & 60. I can't find lense replacements on the Lewmar site for these hatches. Does anyone have any other suggestions for a do-it-yourself fix.

Yes! Saved a lot by taking hatch covers (not the frame mounted to the deck) to a local glass company (PPG dealer or similar) and specified Lexan replacement lenses. They know what to buy and how to install properly.

Good luck.

a do-it-yourself fix.
If you're into woodworking, replacing the lenses is a good winter project.

Remove the hatch lid and remove the lens on a workbench. Don't forget to poly over the hatch as you'll be at this a while.
Use the original lenses as a template and cut your new acrylic lenses +/- 0.001" with a template router bit.

Working acrylic with carbide power tools is a breeze.

Make sure the hatch lid is clean to receive the new lens and secure and seal with Dow Corning 795. Use masking tape for a quick cleanup.

Sorry I don't have anything more detailed for you but I plan to photo and detail the next replacement this winter. Most likely you can find other material on this replacement using the search option here.

If you search the web, there are ways to remove the crazing, since it is an outside surface scratch. I plan to test it on a Lewmar old style window lens, that was replaced new. The method is a sequence of differing grit polishing compounds.
It maybe more trouble than it is worth, but DIY.;)

It would be nice if it was surface scratching only. My UV damage seems to be anything from a few thou in depth to through cracking as seen below.

But maybe I'm just different (unlucky).
