Spreader boot replacement

Hunter 25.5 SYR
G'morning;
I'm asking for a little help because with my 25.5 on-cradle 50 miles away, it's difficult to make this measurement myself.
The boots over my shrouds, at the ends of the spreaders are cracked and brittle (might be originals from '84) and I see they are not very expensive, but come in a couple sizes.
Can anyone suggest the appropriate size for mine?

thanks

Turnbuckle boot covers is what you are referring to. Davis made about 3 or 4 different sizes but the 1 1/8 ID 17" long or 1 1/2 ID 20" long would work. Measure your turnbuckle for length and width as you would want them big enough to be able to turn

My shrouds pass through the end of my spreaders as well, and also use "spreader boots"

I make mine out of leather, and can show you how to make an easy pattern, cost me less then plastic. And with a little care, last longer too.
For a 25.5 a "medium" will be about right.

I think he's asking about spreader boots. This style boot is fitted by wire size. See the link.
This is an example of a turnbuckle boot or cover

Thanks Joe for the clarification as I glanced quickly over the post and read "The boots over my shrouds" but at least he has a reference for that too.
The photo of the spreader boot is exactly what I would have put on when I sold the boats and there are several sizes. I use to secure the three ends with a nylon tie and then used rigging tape on top. One thing that several folks did too often is to stretch the end too tight of the rigging tape and electrical tape if using that and it would pull away at the ends so word of caution there.

Thanks for the replies; was thinking "medium" was the size needed for the spreader boots. But, thanks also for tips about turnbuckle boots because I haven't seen any of them on-board either.
It's all at rest until spring - soon to get wrapped in blue for winter (hate typing that word in September)
