Control Head for ST 4000 Issues

[Long Story]

Anyone have a working control head for an ST 4000 wheel pilot? I had a boat fail survey because the autopilot won't tack to port (everything else works) but buyer wants the head replaced, or the full autopilot?

Anyone seen this problem before +/- 10 and +/- 1 work fine all directions, and auto tack to starboard? I never noticed it did't work, we always tack ourselves.

Did you try redoing the setup? It could be the limits you set on rudder movement.

Raymarine said either will work. The plus is backwards compatible to the original ST 4000

I don't have a rudder sensor, so that limit is not a setting I can access. thank you though

I don't either, but ine of the settings you have to go through is a full side to side rudder turn, stop to stop.

Thanks much. After your second note we walked through all the set up. Did not see anything all that off, but made a few changes. (also adjusted % for auto tack) it now works...
