Looks good- and familiar! Adding solar was the number one best upgrade for us. We spend much of our time onboard away from the marina so keeping the batteries topped up was always a pain before we added the panels.

Is that yellow wire going across the panels connected to your GPS antenna? Temporary install?

Very nice. Wish I had a bimini so I could do that. My panel is on the starboard aft rail.

Nice set-up. It will be nice when you want to get away from the new neighbors.

The yellow line is for the scary bird ball at the top of the mast,I use my topping
lift and that cheap yellow line hooked to the topping lift line from the back of the boom.
And it does a good job scaring birds from dropping a mass of do do all over the boat.
I keep the ref on 24/7 all from the solar no battery charger, when out cruising we almost always anchor out and hardly ever need to use the Gen for charging and just hot water for showing and I keep a front load ref on and Engel portable ref/freezer plus TV and charging 2 tablets and 2 cells, the panels are 2-190 watt.

I installed the panels in 2010 and have raced for the last few years and no problems
and the main sheet is forward of the panels and safe from catching on the panels.
I can tell you the panels do move or shake and can hold on to them when climbing
up to the end of the boom, they are very secured.
