I got my package of rivets. 4 sizes of regular rivets, and some flathead- like a flathead screw. Strange but just THOSE had rings on the shank. Probably for better grip. Iplaced the order Friday, it was picked & packed at 10 P.M. and sent to the post office. With priority mail, the P.O. had it three days- time enough to smash the box enough that it was ripped its width, and the end busted open. It was in a bag with an apology on the bag. If it was anything but rivets, it would be a goner.
