Mounting idea for solar panel....

One of three panels aboard...this one feeds the bow thruster battery.
The other two are the same size and will be mounted to the stern rails....fully adjustable to the sun direction.

Well, it would certainly get in the way of "my" head sail.
Here's a photo of another C&C Mega 30, and it looks to have some room forward of the headstay.

Not at all...the bow pulpit crossbar aft of the solar panel is a fair bit forward of the head sail.
