It is crazy out there and it has nothing to do with the weather. Why do people insist in driving around in this weather? It is so stupid. I just had to explain to a guy that it is reckless driving to drive the wrong way down a one way street on snow covered roads during a blizzard. Seriously?

I am already feeling it.. ordered lobsters from Maine yesterday (a gift) and FedEx is late.. They are telling me that they will try to deliver them before 8PM.. Nice .. Strange thing to me is that there is no huge storm yet..

Nice. I think I"ll have my son bring a couple of big ones, still wet and feisty, home from work today, once they get the pots stacked and warp stored. I bet he gets here before 8. ;>)

Recklessness is pretty much a common condition in 20 year old kids. I'm sure their family and friend greatly appreciate your efforts to keep them safe, and get them to a "I didn't think of that" lesson learned.

You know what I HATE??? Getting out of bed "early" on a blizzard Saturday morning to watch the DIY shows (Hometime, Woodworker, TOH, etc.), just to find they have "people choice" shows. Like how many times do we have to see Suze Orman plug her theories and books/videos? I'm going back to bed. Would someone give me a wake-up call on April 1st, please?

Well, I deal with a lot of the public too. The guy I stopped last night was old enough to know better and definitely not a student. Probably some of the crazier stuff I have seen has come from regular people. I will say that on days like today I am glad that I don't work for the State Police or the other local department that I use to work for.

The really good news is that I am building lots of leave just for being here. I already have three weeks off from mid-May to the beginning of June. I may have to take more time off
