Flag Pole Holder Diameter

Hi all - I own a Hunter 306 that is in dry storage in a different state so access is limited. My boat has a flag pole holder on the stern railing that would appear to be from the factory? I am wanting to purchase a flag pole but I do not know the diameter of the holder. Does anyone by chance know the diameter of the flag pole holder? I attempted to upload a pic for reference. If you look closely you will see it just under the top rail above the seat. Thanks for your help

Hi Rays. Based on my 1999 H-310 and imagining the plant hasn't changed the holder size for any reason, it accepts a 1" OD pole. I made the flag pole out of 1" SS railing and fittings.

I bought an off-the-shelf aluminum flag pole from my friendly neighborhood Ace Hardware. I cut it to length when I got to the boat. I don't leave it on when not sailing so I don't expect the 2 different metals to be a problem. The pole fits perfectly in the 1" holder. (Dawg not included.)
