The MaineSail link in #14 above has it at about that same price and you know it's the right stuff. Then wander around his site and watch a video to learn how to do it right.
It's butyl tape.
I think most people can figure out how to use it, even without watching an internet video :doh: .

Yes, I agree it's not rocket science but it's nice to get Mainesail's attention to detail like chamfering all the fastener holes. He has a very informative site where you can find other things closer to rocket science that you may not know....

Buying butyl tape from mainesail is a very cheap price to pay for the information he gives this forum I don't know where else you would find all the info he has shared over time

i have a leaky teaky . fixes dont work. good to know about that spray stuff... i use a lot of tarps.... gottten quite good at the fine art of boat tarping...... can do for sun prevention, rain, 'cane--you name it there is a tarpin g method for that..
