Should there be a slight forward rack in the mast?

most mast tuning suggestions (note, this is for catalina 25, and my Oday 28) were for the mast raked back. Start at 5-6". Hang a weight from your main halyard, It should be around 5-6" back from the gooseneck fitting.

You probably notice quite a bit of weather helm with the forward rake....???

Thanks, that is what I was thinking. Only been out under motor. Sails being cleaned and tuned.
