How big is your chain?

And I'm not referring to all those gold chains around your neck.

If your Hunter is newer than ~2000, there's about a fair chance it has a Quick windlass. We're working with Quick on a product to replace the old discontinued Lewmar windlasses, but it turns out they've only tested a couple of chain sizes.

If you have this windlass...

...or for that matter, any other Quick windlass, what is your boat model, chain size, and gypsy size (if you know). Thanks!

Phil, I have the Lewmar on my 2000 Hunter 460 but we're missing the tool to allow it to freeflow chain while anchoring. I've looked all over the internet but can't seem to find one. Any ideas on this?

2012 Hunter e33 - According to Josh at Lewmar, the unit itself is called a Lewmar V3 Modified. It was made specifically for Hunter due to their anchor locker configuration. It was made for Hunter and Hunter alone. I have 200' of 5/16" G43 plus 250’ 5/8” 3 strand nylon anchor line.
