Hi all,

After reading so many posts on LED lights for the interior I decided to swap a few in the cabin getting rid of some halogens. So how hard could it be? Bulb out, bulb in. The first few went well and my wife was impressed with the two color option. Then old Murphy kicks you in the shins. Two of the four dome lights fell apart as I tried to get the bayonet bulbs out and LEDs in. (more like mangled) Next long stop I might/should/will get new fixtures.

So I guess the question remains, "How many tools does it take to change a light bulb?"

My question was going to be is do the red led lights work the same as indcan lights not affecting your night vision??

If you fixtures are anything like mine, the heavily used ones show signs of heat damage on the plastic parts. I ran into this recently when changing over from incandescent to LED.

Yes, I just didn't care for the scorch marks on plastic. The less heat the better.

How did you get the 'blue' light, are they the 'string' lights ? I have led red/white from w-m, they work ok but light output is questionable ?

I got mine from Marine Beam, real happy with the results. Lights don't flicker anymore.
