Wooden boat show

Georgetown, SC also has a wooden boat show this weekend. Here is a pic from last years boat building contest. As I recall, 1/3 of the points goes to speed of building, 1/3 to quality of the build, and 1/3 to speed on the water. Great fun to watch.

Hey Sailaway78, please explain that awesome classic steam cruise ship ... is it the Titanic or one of the QE vessels? I am trying to understand what I'm seeing in that picture ... tough to fully grasp the scale and where you pilot it from?

Here is another shot of it to give it some scale. In the posted pic it looks pretty big, but it isn't. I'm not sure cause I couldn't find anyone to talk to about it, but I think it is radio controlled. I think it is a Titanic model.

I helped a friend load his rowing skiff on the back of his pickup yesterday. He is headed for the Georgetown boat show. Took him about 6 months to build the boat and another month to construct the dolly and ramp system to load it on the truck.
