Volvo piezoelectric buzzer problem.

Morning;

The piezoelectric buzzer in the dash of the Volvo Penta (2000 Series) is unreliable despite my best efforts at cleaning it and spraying with dioxit.

Only sounds about 80 percent of the time on it's own and the 20 percent of the times it fails you can hear a cracking sound. Tap the face when the cracking happening and it sounds our very well.

Any suggestion on next steps or source of buying it for less than the $125 wanted for the part on Ebay? http://www.ebay.com/itm/828587-6-82...NEW-/301325218351?hash=item462861f22f&vxp=mtr

Any 12v buzzer will work. May be around $10. Try digikey etc.
